Manati tabs Kendric Davis, ex Sydney

Kendric Davis

Osos de Manati (BSN) signed 26-year-old American 183cm point guard Kendric Davis (college: Memphis). He recently played for Sydney Kings in the Australian NBL league. In 40 games, he averaged an impressive 25.1ppg, 3.7rpg, 7.1apg, and 1.1spg last season, helping them win the league title. He was awarded Australiabasket.com All-Australian League Import Player of the Year, Finals MVP, and voted to the All-Imports Team. In the last season, he played for Monkey Kings (CBA) in the Chinese league. Davis also had a stint with Adelaide 36ers (NBL).
He is a very experienced player. Davis has traveled extensively during his pro career, playing in four different countries on three different continents (Asia, Australia, and North America). He has played professionally in China, the NBA G League (Santa Cruz Warriors), and the NBA Summer League (Portland Trail Blazers).
Davis received the All-AAC Player of the Year award during his college time back in 2022.
He graduated from the University of Memphis in 2023 and is currently in his third season in pro basketball. Davis played for other colleges such as Southern Methodist University and Texas Christian University.
